Off the Backboard Drill
Who: All players
How: Stand in front of backboard, to the side of the rim, with toes equal to front of rim (important!). Set the ball up in 1 position with ball connected to body. Using our shooting motion, shoot ball off backboard and make the ball land on floor in front of body without moving.
Why: To build connection and smooth motion and to control launch angle.
Workout: 5 consecutive reps without failure, or as needed.
