Jump Through Drill

Who: All players

How: Standing in triple threat position, bounce the ball firmly as body lowers. Receive ball in ready position and begin raising ball continuously as body jumps through the release. The ball must pass the body as it moves farther than the body will raise. Release the ball before the peak of the jump.

Why: To build feel of connection, leverage and smooth energy transfer into release of shot.

Workout: Do this for 2-4 minutes each day. Stationary with one dribble. Can also be incorporated into multiple dribbles.
